Hyderabad: In yet another incident of heinous crime, a 13-year-old girl allegedly raped on the pretext of marriage.
According to the news published in Telangana Today, on Saturday, Narsingi police arrested a 21-year-old man, Khalid for allegedly abducting and raping a minor girl.
He took the girl, a student of VII standard to Tandur by making false marriage promise. After reaching the town, the accused raped the girl.
Meanwhile, worried parents of the girl lodged a missing complaint.
During the investigation, police found Khalid and arrested him under the charges of kidnap, rape and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (PCSO) Act. Police sent the girl for medical examination.
Later, Khalid was produced before the magistrate. Court sent him into judicial custody.
