Hyderabad: In a heinous crime which occurred in SRT Colony, Yakutpura, a teenager allegedly raped a minor girl by calling her to his residence under the pretext of celebrating her birthday.
According to the details of the incident, Mohammed Aslam (19) is the son of Azeem Azad. After completing intermediate, Aslam was working as a cab driver. He developed contacts with a 13-year-old girl living in the same area.
In the night of 27th November, he called the girl to his residence under the pretext of celebrating her birthday and raped her.
The mother of the girl went to Aslam’s house and enquired about her daughter. She was attacked there. She brought her daughter out of the house of Aslam and lodged a complaint with the police.
It is reported that the father of the accused is a worker of a local political party. Attempts are being made to hush-up the case.
Police registered a case against Aslam under POCSO Act and arrested him. The girl was shifted to Govt. Maternity Hospital for medical examination.
