Hyderabad: In a heinous incident which occurred in Pahadi Shareef area, a 14-year-old girl was raped many a time by her mother’s beau.
The incident came to limelight when victim’s mother lodged a complaint against her beau, Jaiveer (22).
According to the report of Police Inspector, P. Lakshmikanth Reddy, Jaiveer is the native of UP. The victim’s 35-year-old mother was residing with her and 9-year-old son. After her husband left her, she continued living with Jaiveer. Accused and the victim’s mother were co-workers in a chocolate factory.
It may be mentioned that Jaiveer used to rape the girl whenever he found her alone. During the last month, he raped her twice. The girl did not report it to her mother since the accused threatened her of dire consequences.
Police registered a case under section 376 of IPC and POCSO Act. However, the accused is still absconding.
