Hyderabad: An 18-year-old girl committed suicide at her house. This incident took place in the area which falls under the jurisdiction of Marredpally Police station.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, the girl who is identified as Lasya was depressed after she failed to clear her intermediate exam. Lasya who was an intermediate second-year student of a private college had failed to clear one subject.
Depressed over it, she committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan of her bedroom.
As per the details furnished by the police, she took this extreme step despite the fact that her parents supported her.
Although no suicide note was found, her family members suspect that she took this step due to failure in the examination.
Police registered a case and started investigation.
