Hyderabad: In yet another incident, a jilted lover threw toilet cleaning acid on a 19-year-old girl’s face. This incident took place in Padmavathi Colony which falls under the jurisdiction of Hayathnagar Police Station.
According to the report published in The Hindu, the accused is identified as Cheruku Shankar Goud (23), a car driver by profession.
Talking about the case, Mr. K. Satish, Inspector of Hayathnagar Police told that this incident occurred when the victim along with her mother and a friend was going to grocery store.
According to the details of the incident, as the victim was avoiding the accused, he stopped her and began an argument. Then the accused threw the toilet cleaner. In the attack, the victim and her friend suffered minor injuries.
Meanwhile, police is suspecting that the victim and the accused were in a relationship.
