Hyderabad: In a strange incident, a woman who was hesitant to attend marriage function without wearing ornaments committed suicide. This incident took place in Kukatpally area two days back.
Tahera Begum (23) was the wife of Raheemuddin, an auto driver. She was getting ready to attend a marriage function scheduled to be held on 25th April. Her husband went to petrol bunk to get petrol filled in his auto. Meanwhile, Tahera Begum set herself ablaze due to not having any ornaments to wear for attending the marriage function. She was rushed to the hospital where died during the treatment.
According to the report of the police, she got vexed because she did not have ornaments to wear. She, therefore, took this extreme step. Police registered a case and started an investigation.
