Hyderabad: It seems that crimes against women are on the increase even in the Old City of Hyderabad. In the recent past, many crimes including sexual harassment against women have been reported.
In one such incident, a 25-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two persons who are known to the victim. This incident took place at the victim’s house which is located at Wadi-e-Mustafa. The locality falls under the jurisdiction of Pahadishareef Police Station. The accused is identified as Amjad and Azam
According to the report published in Telangana Today, the victim was staying in the locality along with her husband and four children.
As per the details of the incident, on the night of Saturday, the accused persons knocked on the door of the victim. When she opened the door, they sexually assaulted the victim after taking her into the room.
On Sunday, the victim approached the police and lodged a complaint.
Pahadishareef Police registered a case and started investigation.
