Hyderabad: A 30-year-old, woman ended her life by dousing kerosene and setting herself ablaze at Malakpet. Samina Parveen Begum reportedly resorted to extreme step following a tiff with her husband.
Citing police sources, Telangana today reported that Samina was a native of Maharashtra and was married to Zaheer Khan, a salesman and had two daughters.
Following a row on Saturday, over husband having an affair, Samina set herself on fire. She was rushed to Osmania General Hospital. However, she succumbed to burns on Wednesday.
Police arrested Zaheer Khan and a case has been booked against him under section 498 A, 306 and 511 of IPC.
