Hyderabad: In a shameful incident which occurred on Monday, a 49-year-old man raped a three-year-old girl in Hyderabad.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, after the incident which took place near BHEL RTC bus stand, police arrested the accused.
As per the details, P Srinivas who is a resident of Isukabavi in Ameenpur was returning home when he saw the girl alone. He offered her cookies and then took her to bushes where he raped her.
This heinous crime came to limelight when RTC employees saw Srinivas leaving the spot and the girl crying. However, Srinivas managed to escape from the crime scene.
Police reached the spot after RTC employees informed them. The girl was shifted to Niloufer Hospital as she was bleeding.
Police registered a case against the accused under various sections of IPC and POCSO Act. Court sent him into judicial custody.
