Hyderabad: After weeks of high temp, now city gets relief after rainfall

After weeks of high temperature in Hyderabad, the city has witnessed a good rainfall along with some winds and thunderstorms.

A sudden change in a weather in Hyderabad gives relief, a thunderstorm of a moderate intensity hit Hyderabad with gusty winds accompanied by heavy rainfall were recorded in central and north-eastern parts of the city.

Thunderstorms generally occur when the day temperatures and relative humidity are high. This brought relief to the city that has been witnessing a rise in day temperatures over the past few weeks. The south-west currents over Telangana state are currently week.

This week the maximum temperature in the city was 35.7°, which made it one of the hottest days in September so far. Hyderabad is likely to witness rain or thundershowers in the evenings or at nights.
