Hyderabad: In another heinous crime committed against girls, a boy brutally killed a 17-year-old girl. This incident took place at Railway Quarters of Osmania University area.
According to the details of the case, Venkatesh developed friendship with the girl who was studying in the second year of intermediate class. Later, he had fallen in love with her.
He used to chase her quite often. Vexed with this, the girl warned him not to chase her. Venkatesh asked the girl to meet him on the night of 6th August at the Railway Quarters of OU under the pretext of talking to her.
When she reached the spot, the accused slit her throat with a razor blade. The girl died on the spot.
After the incident, the local residents assaulted him. Police arrested the boy.
