Hyderabad: The Bajrang Dal activists today staged a protest opposing Valentine Day. They burnt an effigy of Valentine Day.
Speaking on the occasion, Bajrang Dal activists made it clear that they were not against the love and Lovers Day but were against the western culture in the name of Valentine Day. The Bajrang Dal activists warned that they would forcibly make the lovers to tie the knot and allow them to make love.
The parks were deserted with the Bajrang Dal activists’ warnings. The lovers took caution to avoid Bajrang Dal’s threats. But the Hyderabad police assured the lovers not to be scared with the warnings of Bajrang Dal. They made it clear that they will give full security to the lovers and the police tightened security at Parks, Malls and Hotels. (NSS)
