Hyderabad: Blasphemous contents against Prophet’s companions go viral, complaint lodged

Hyderabad: Ameer of Amarat-e-Milat-e-Islamia, Maulana Jafar Pasha met Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police, Mr. Anjani Kumar in his office yesterday and lodged a complaint against a travel agent who made the blasphemous material viral on social media.

He informed the Commissioner of Police that the Chairman of Travel Point HR Solutions Private Limited, Babu Khan Estate, Qazi Najamuddin uploaded a video on Youtube, “Sach ka Saath” in which blasphemous remarks were made against the companions of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

Maulana Jafar Pasha told the Commissioner of Police that the matter posted on YouTube hurt the sentiments of the Muslims. He requested the commissioner to file a case against Najamuddin under sections 153 (A) and 279.

Later, talking to newsmen, Maulana Jafar Pasha told that any blasphemy against the companions of the prophet is not tolerable and the Muslims will not keep quiet. He further said that such remarks are being made by miscreants due to lack of Islamic knowledge.

Police sources informed that this complaint is being referred to the Cyber Crime Team of Hyderabad City Police.
