Hyderabad: In a very horrific incident a 37-year-old man was stabbed to death by his brother-in-law and others in full public view for ignoring his children after his wife’s death.
The incident took place at First Lancer road in Banjara Hills on Monday evening when Ateeq Qureshi went to meet his children in the city. His brother in law chased him to a barber’s shop and brutally murdered him without bothering about the presence of the public.
A Police official from Humayun Nagar police station said. “Ateeq’s wife passed away five years ago. His three kids were staying with his wife’s relatives. Atheeq had gone to Maharashtra and other parts of the country ignoring his kids. When he came back, a dispute arose between him and his wife’s kin.”
He said Ateeq had a quarrel with his brother-in-law on Monday, in a fit of rage he was attacked. He added. “Ateeq tried to escape the attack by running away. But the killers followed and stabbed him when he got inside the shop”.
