Hyderabad: Failing to pay the extortion money, a businessman kidnapped from Hyderabad was murdered in Singapore.
The deceased victim Vasudevraj was a resident of Mahesh Nagar in Kushaiguda. He was kidnapped last week and was taken to Singapore by the Kidnappers.
The kidnappers demanded extortion money of Rs 3 crore from the victim’s family to release Vasudev.
The family was sent Vasudev’s pictures who was badly beaten by the Kidnappers. They requested the kidnappers to release him since they cannot pay such a huge ransom money.
Vasudevraj who used to run RK Enterprises store was suffering from financial crisis.
The Indian embassy is now making efforts to retrieve the dead body.
