In a tragic incident which had occurred in Tappa Chabutra area two days back, a lover had set his beloved ablaze by pouring petrol. The girl who was shifted to hospital succumbed to injuries. Later, the man also died during the treatment.
It may be mentioned that Sheikh Mohammed Ibrahim, a resident of Salalah, Barkas had developed contacts with a girl on Facebook. When the girl came to know that he is a married person, she denied marrying him.
Irritated with her decision, he went to the girl’s house and set her ablaze by pouring petrol on her.
