Hyderabad: First group of Haj pilgrims flagged off on July 31

Hyderabad: The first group of Haj pilgrims consisting of 303 persons was flagged off at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 31st July at Haj House by Dy. CM of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali. He also bid farewell to them at 7:30 a.m. at the Hyderabad International Airport.

Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Executive Officer of Telangana Haj Committee is monitoring the arrangements. DCP of Central Zone deployed cops at Haj House.

Mr. Masihullah Khan, Chairman of Haj Committee and Mohammed Saleem, Chairman of Wakf Board visited Haj House and expressed their satisfaction over the arrangements. The Haj House compound is flooded with the banners of various leaders.

The first group consists of 297 pilgrims of Telangana and 6 from Karnataka. Eight special buses of RTC have been engaged to transport Haj pilgrims from Haj House to Airport.

Prof. Shukoor informed that the Haj pilgrims of AP will fly from 11th to 14th August. The 25th flight which is the last one, will takeoff on 15th August.
