Hyderabad: Four persons conduct theft under pretext of taking house on rent

Hyderabad: In a theft incident, the unknown thieves entered the residence of Mr. Shahnawaz, GHMC employee under the pretext of taking the house on rent and tied the hands of the ladies inside the house. This incident occurred in Trimulgherry area.

Later, they took away Rs. 1.60 lakh cash, gold ornaments and other articles.

After the theft occurred, his mother narrated this incident to him. The fingerprint experts of Trimulgherry Police reached the spot and collected evidence. They also took the recordings of CCTV cameras. Police suspects that addict thieves must have conducted this robbery.

According to the details given by ACP of Begumpet, Mr. A. Ram Reddy, four unknown thieves including a burkha-clad woman entered the house of Shahnawaz. They talked to the mother of Shahnawaz, Iqbal Begum (70) and Shamsunnisa Begum (35) about taking the house on rent. Finding the women alone in the house, the thieves tied their hands and legs before conducting the crime.

Police registered a case and started investigation.
