Hyderabad: Mr V.C. Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, has notified for the information of general public that in view of the Ganesh Immersion on September 23, in order to facilitate the road users and the Ganesh immersion processions, for smooth flow of traffic, the following restrictions are imposed on movement on the following roads/areas/type of vehicles mentioned here under on Sept 23 from 0600 hours up to 0600 hours on Sept 24.
Regulation of Ganesh Idol Immersion procession on Hasmathpet Tank: The vehicles carrying Ganesh Idols from Bowenpally and other colonies of Secunderabad should enter Hasmathpet tank via Anjaiahnagar and after the immersion of idols, the empty vehicles shall exit towards Old Bowenpally, Mosque road and Harijanbasthi.
Regulation of Ganesh Idol Immersion procession on IDL Tank: The vehicles of the visitors / on lookers will not be allowed at IDL Tank. The vehicles carrying Ganesh idols from Godrej, Kukatpally or from JNTU will converge at IDL Junction and proceed towards the Tank and exit towards Rainbow vista and go towards Nainagarden. On 23.09.2018, road will be closed from IDL tank entrance to rainbow vista T-Junction road for general traffic to facilitate immersion.
Regulation of Hyderabad City Ganesh idols on flyovers: The vehicles carrying Ganesh idols will not be allowed on Fathenagar fly over from Balanagar, Balkampet and Sanathnagar side due to security reasons. Similarly, vehicles carrying Ganesh idol will not be allowed on Cyber towers fly over and Gachibowli fly over due to safety issues.
Heavy vehicles, RTC Buses will not be allowed to ply on the following roads/areas: BHEL X road to Miyapur , Balanagar to Fathenagar bridge , Godrej to Erragadda , Miyapur to Godrej, Kukatpally , Ferojguda to Godrej, Kukatpally , Gudenmet to Narsapur ‘X’ road , PVNR fly over from Aramghar X road Restrictions of heavy vehicles. Heavy vehicles, RTC Buses will not be allowed to ply on the following roads/areas: BHEL X road to Miyapur , Balanagar to Fathenagar bridge , Godrej to Erragadda , Miyapur to Godrej, Kukatpally , Ferojguda to Godrej, Kukatpally , Gudenmet to Narsapur ‘X’ road , PVNR fly over from Aramghar X road. RTC Buses are also restricted in the following areas: Aramghar x road towards Bahadurpura.
Road Diversion: All Vehicles coming from Sangareddy, Patancheru and BHEL proceeding towards Kukatpally, Hyderabad City will not be allowed and they shall take diversion at BHEL X road, take ‘U’ turn and proceed towards Lingampally, HCU, Gachibowli, Tolichoki. All vehicles coming from BHEL, Chandanagar and Miyapur towards Ameerpet shall take diversion at Miyapur X road, take left and proceed towards Bachupally, Dundigal road.
