Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a couple who was reportedly in a relationship committed suicide in a flat. This incident took place in Khairatabad.
According to the report published in TOI, the couple took this extreme step on Friday, a day after attending a marriage. Maheshwar Reddy, 25 and Varsha Sri, 22 allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves. They were found hanging in two different rooms of the flat. No suicide note was found from the spot.
According to the details of the case, Maheshwar reached the flat of Varsha at around 2.30 pm. Later, the girl called her brother and cried. Her brother rushed to the flat.
However, when he reached the flat, he found Maheshwar hanging. Later, after searching, he also found Varsha’s body.
Mr. C. Venu Gopal Reddy, ACP ruled out any foul play. Police suspects that it is a case of suicide and investigating whether families’ opposition to couple’s marriage proposal led to this incident.
