Hyderabad: In yet another incident of dowry harassment, a man allegedly murdered his wife. Later, Jubilee Hills Police arrested the accused.
According to the details, Mohammed Shiraz Anwar, a resident of Sanathnagar married Asima Begum in 2017. The couple has a son. After the marriage, the husband started harassing his wife for getting more dowry. He was insisting to get 120 sq. yards plot registered in his name. On the night of 15th September, Anwar went to his in-laws’ house located at Krishna Nagar, Yousufguda, murdered his wife and fled away.
He was arrested on 24th October near ESI Hospital Yerragadda. He was presented in the court. The magistrate sent him to jail.
