Hyderabad: ‘Hanuman jayanthi’ has been celebrated in the twin cities on a large scale. Temples were decorated for the occasion, and special pujas were conducted at different Temples. Devotees thronged the Temples in numbers and offered pujas to Lord Hanuman.
Hanuman Shobayatra was organized under the supervision of Vishwahindu parishad and Bajarangdal organizations .Devotees participated in large scale in the rally on two wheelers .The Vijaya yatra was started from Gowliguda Ram Mandir and proceeded to Tadbund Hanuman Temple, approximately 12.5 kms
Police made elaborate security arrangements by deploying 12 thousand personnel to see that no untoward incident takes place. Surveillance with 450 cc cameras was also arranged. Hanuman temples at Khairatabad, Gowluguda, Tadbun, Karmanghat and other places attracted huge crowds on the occasion.
