Hyderabad: IICD’s dawat-e-Iftar for differently abled

Hyderabad: On Friday, Dawat-e-Iftar was organized for the differently abled at Decent Function Hall in Mehdipatnam by the Ideal Information Centre of Disabled (IICD).

Ideal Information Centre of Disabled (IICD) is based in Azampura near Chaderghat. IICD is part of a social project by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind which started the Ideal School for deaf several years ago and has been running to cater the educational needs of the deaf and dumb students from nursery to class IIX (registered by Govt.).

The iftar party was attended by Hamid Mohammed Khan, president, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (TS) as a guest of honour, while Md Rashaduddin, chairman, IICD presided over the function.

Md Rashaduddin, in his address, encourages the disabled to unplug their talent in achieving what they wish. Later, certificates were distributed to the students who completed different courses offered at the institute.
