Hyderabad: A man who was hurting the religious sentiments on Facebook was arrested.
According to the details, Vinay Kumar prepared the photographs of Hindu gods and goddesses and posted them on Facebook using objectionable language.
A resident of Rachakonda, Gopi Krishna lodged a complaint with the police. Police took immediate action and got the Facebook id closed.
It may be mentioned that Vinay Kumar was using the network of JIO for this mischievous activity. He was arrested near Railway Station, Nampally.
Police booked him under sections 153 (a), 153 (b), 298, 504 of IPC and section 67 of the IT Act. Later, he was sent to judicial custody.
