Hyderabad: Man attacked for exposing pig oil manufacturing firms

Hyderabad: A man, resident of RK Puram attacked for informing about the pollution of the lake which is located near pig oil manufacturing firms.

According to the news published in DC, J.R. Devender who was an informer for police, GHMC and Pollution Control Board found that these manufacturing firms are polluting the lake. After receiving the information, five firms were closed down.

Reacting on this, businessmen whose firms were shut down allegedly attacked him on Tuesday. Attackers also threatened his wife.

According to an eyewitness, 18 men attacked him with roads and sticks. He was seriously injured in the incident which took place near Rythu Bazaar at RK Puram.

Later, a person informed the police. Devender was given first aid at the police station.

Surprisingly, the gang filed a complaint against Devender for allegedly teasing women of the locality.

It may be mentioned that earlier, RK Puram was the centre for pig oil manufacturing firms run by persons migrated from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
