Hyderabad: Man dies at a poll booth due to cardiac arrest

Hyderabad: An elderly man died of cardiac arrest near the polling station who went to cast his vote at Booth No. 18 in Gundrampally.

He was identified as Seema Narsimha, 50, a native of Gundrampally in Chityal Mandal of Nalgonda district.

According to the report published in the DC, he collapsed after suffering a cardiac arrest who had gone to the polling booth to cast his vote.

He died while being shifted to a hospital for treatment. Former MLA Vemula Veeresham expressed his condolences to the family and offered financial help.

In another incident, a 60-year-old elderly woman died on the spot when she was hit by a speeding vehicle who was returning home after casting her vote in the city.
