Hyderabad: A man who met with a road accident was admitted to a hospital. After doctors declared him brain dead, his family members decided to donate his vital organs.
According to the news published in Telangana Today, B. Venkatesh (30) was declared dead by the doctors at Yashoda Hospital.
It may be mentioned that Venkatesh who was a native of Waddepalli Village, Gadwal District was returning home when the accident took place. A car hit the auto in which he was travelling. This accident took place on 31st December 2017. He was admitted to a local government hospital as he received severe head injuries.
However, on 8th January, he was shifted to Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet where he was declared brain dead by the doctors.
When doctors declared him brain dead, Jeevandan coordinators conducted counselling sessions for his family members. After this session, his wife Amaravathi decided to donate her deceased husband’s organs.
