Hyderabad: Shah Inayatgunj Police arrested the owner of a Chat Bhandar under the charges of raping a minor girl.
According to the details furnished by Chand Pasha, Inspector of Police, Shah Inayatgunj, the owner of Navaratan Chat Bhandar, Navaratan Induraiah had established sexual contacts with a 14-year-old girl who used to come to his shop for getting chat.
He had been raping her for the past two years.
When the crime was known to her mother, she lodged a complaint with the police station.
Shah Inayatgunj Police arrested the accused and started investigation. The victim was sent to the Govt. Hospital for medical examination.
Police reported that Navaratan Induraiah was arrested under POSCO Act. He will be produced in the court today.
