Hyderabad: A group of miscreants attacked Muslim youths and pelted stones at the Jamia Masjid of Tondpally of Shamsabad Mandal. After this incident, panic prevailed in the area.
According to the details, last night, Krishna Goud, Manoj Goud and four of their companions who are associated with Hindu fundamentalist organizations attacked five youths and threatened them to leave the country. After abusing them, the miscreants pelted stones at the masjid resulting in the breakage of window panes.
The local residents informed Shamsabad Rural Police. Three police teams visited the spot and examined the situation.
It is reported that Kishore Goud and Manoj Goud were involved in such incidents earlier also. Police posted a picket at Tondpally Masjid. It is also reported that the miscreants have been taken into custody.
