Hyderabad: A man who met with a road accident was admitted to a hospital. After doctors declared him brain dead, his parents have decided to donate his vital organs.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, C. Venkat (26) who was a resident of Satya Sagar Colony, Vanasthallipuram was declared brain dead by the doctors.
On 7th April, he was returning home on his motorcycle. Another vehicle hit his two-wheeler at B N Reddy Nagar, Vanasthalipuram. He was rushed to a hospital. Later, he was shifted to Aware Global Hospitals, LB Nagar.
After doctors declared him brain dead, Jeevandan coordinators conducted counselling sessions for Venkat’s family members. His mother, Anuradha decided to donate her deceased son’s organs.
