Hyderabad (Telangana) [India]: The Banjara Hills Police on Thursday arrested Telugu actor Venkata Prasad on charges of cheating and threatening a woman.
According to reports, the victim, in her complaint, alleged that the actor was in a serious relationship with her and had also promised to marry her. However, he backed out of the promise and when she persisted, he started threatening her.
The actor has been booked in a case for cheating and other relevant sections under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Prasad is also a theatre manager with IMAX. (ANI)
