Hyderabad Police boasts of its community policing but a strange incident tarnished its image of reformation of society. Police Inspector of Saroor Nagar, S. Lingaiah engaged his home guard, Saida Nayak for massaging his body. The video of this act got viral.
Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat ordered probe into this incident.
Meanwhile, the inspector denied the charges and said that he is not the person shown in the video. However, the home guard claimed that the inspector forced him for his body massage, DC reported.
According to the details, home guard belongs to Dalit Community. He was working against the wishes of the inspector. Irritated with his behavior, the inspector commissioned him to his house and engaged him for his body massage. The Inspector was in drunken state.
It remains to be seen what action the rule-minded DCP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat takes against the Inspector.
