HYDERABAD: City Police will soon get fully equipped Fab Regal Raptor motorcycles in the coming time.
The awesome looking motorcycle is exclusively designed for the police department to chase and intercept culprits is equipped with GPS tracker, surveillance, ultra modern public address system and other security systems.
The motorcycle that would enter the Hyderabad police fleet are based on Regal Raptor DD 350E 9B, powered by a 320cc, 2-cylinder, water cooled, fuel- injected. The parallel twin cylinder motor is good for 22.8 BHP at 8500 rpm and 22 Nm at 6500 rpm.
The DD – 350E – 9B comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters.
The 180 kg Regal Raptor retails for INR 2,96,000.
The 25-year old US-based Regal Raptor Motorcycles is now owned by a Chinese group has joined hands with Hyderabad based Fabulous and Beyond Motors (FAB) group in February 2015.
