Hyderabad: Prostitution racket busted, 2 arrested

Hyderabad: A prostitution racket was busted in city limits after Task Force Commissioner’s team raided a house and caught two persons for running the flesh-trade business and seized Rs 10,500 and three mobile phones.

The police also rescued a woman who was ‘forced into prostitution’ said the police, TT reported.

The sudden raid was conducted after the police received a tip-off in SR Nagar and caught Manepally Ravi Kiran, 35, of Kalyannagar and native of Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. A customer Achanta Krishna Sagar, 27, of Jamia Osmania.

The DCP, Task Force, P Radhakrishna Rao said that the culprits sort to this flesh-trade business after Manepally Ravi Kiran could no longer earn enough money after coming to Hyderabad.

He sort to run this business about 5 months and took a house on rent at Kalyan Nagar, SR Nagar, Hyderabad on rent for Rs 15,000 per month and was running the brothel with women from West Bengal said the DCP.

He brought girls from West Bengal and offered them a payment of Rs 70,000 per 15 days.
