Hyderabad: Dept. of Education, Govt. of TS has issued orders to suspend the reopening of Azaan International School where a rape incident had occurred last week.
DEO, Ms. Venkata Narasamma told that a show cause notice has been issued to the management of the school asking them to show the reasons why the recognition of the school should not be withdrawn after a rape case occurred in their school.
The management of the school informed that a reply of the show cause notice would be sent to Dept. of Education.
The Dept. of School Education received the status report of Dy. Inspector of Schools which is under consideration.
After reviewing the reports, a decision would be taken about the cancellation of recognition. The Dept. of Education informed the management of the school that till a decision is taken, school should not function.
