Hyderabad: In a heinous crime, a man killed his mother. This incident took place in wee hours of 28th June at Yella Reddyguda which comes under SR Nagar Police Station area.
According to the report, Mamata (40) was running chit fund business. Due to heavy losses in her business, she was worried. Every day, customers used to visit her house demanding their money. In order to avoid the troubles, she moved to the house of her elder brother, Ramesh which is located at Kothapet.
Her husband, Srinivas and son, Madan often used to quarrel with her for starting this business.
On 28th June, her son took her to the terrace of VR Enclave Apartments and attacked her with a sharp weapon. Later, he strangled her throat and killed her. After committing the crime, the accused fled away.
On receiving information, SR Nagar Police reached the spot and collected evidence.
Police registered a case and took the accused into custody.
