Hyderabad: Special screening of “Padmaavat” goes peaceful

Hyderabad: For the first time, a special preview of “Padmaavat” was arranged in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

According to the report published in DC, the media preview of Telugu version of Padmaavat was held at a multiplex theatre at Banjara Hills.

Although there was no police protection, the preview went off peacefully without any interruption.

It may be mentioned that the movie is scheduled to be released on 25th January.

Meanwhile, State Government did not comment anything on the controversy surrounding the movie.

Talking about the law and order situation, Mr. V.V. Srinivas Rao, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City told that the State Government did not ban the movie. He also said that distributors and theatre owners are worried about any unforeseen situation for the first two days after the release of the movie. Necessary security arrangements would be made, he added.

He assured that police would protect the people who go to the theatres to watch the movie as there is no ban in the State.
