Hyderabad: Two labourers died while one labourer was injured in an accident after they got hit by an RTC bus this Sunday morning.
According to reports, the deceased identified as Srinath Rao and Shankar Rao and Yadagiri, were cousins and were on their way to work, TOI reports.
The trio were crossing the road near Bharatnagar metro station when the unfortunate mishap occurred around 10 am.
The empty RTC speeding bus moving towards Ameerpet reportedly hit the trio killing Srikanth and Shankar on the spot while Yadgiri was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
The bus driver has been taken into custody and is now being questioned. The Police has booked him under sections 304 (A) (causing death by negligence and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of IPC.
