Hyderabad: Startup designs AC helmet to beat the heat – Here’re the details

Hyderabad: In an attempt to beat the heat, startup came up with the concept of AC helmet. This helmet will keep the head cool during the summer season. A Hyderabad startup which was floated by three youths is ready with the design.

According to the report published in Times of India, these youths are Kausthub Kaundinya, Sreekanth Kommula and Anand Kumar. All are mechanical engineers and 2016 passed out. They completed their engineering from VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bachupally.

It is also reported that the design of Industrial AC helmet is completed and startup began working on designing an AC biker helmet. The cost of the industrial helmet with a two-hour battery life is Rs 5,000 and that of eight-hour battery life is Rs 5,500.

It may be mentioned that the startup was supported by Government of Telangana. The startup already found takers for its pilot sales in the Indian Navy and Tata Motors. Commercial production is expected soon. JARSH (Just A Rather Safe Helmet) gifted one helmet to KTR during BioAsia2018.
