A thief in Hyderabad died due to injuries he sustained when he tried to flee from a house that he was targeting to steal. Police said neighbours raised an alarm on spotting him.
Y. Arun Kumar, 24, had attempted to break into the house in Bandlaguda to rob it. The house was under construction without a wall. He tried to escape but fell and sustained injuries.
Locals informed the police who rushed him to Gandhi Hospital where he died night while undergoing treatment.
“The neighbours noticed Arun Kumar and screamed for help. In a hurry to escape, he climbed up to the roof but accidentally fell down.” Keesara inspector B. Prakash said.
Police registered a case under IPC Section 304 A (suspicious death) and further investigation is underway.
