Hyderabad: Tondpally murder case mystery resolved

Hyderabad: An unknown dead body was found at Tondpally village in Shamsabad Mandal on 14th June. Police registered a case and started investigations.

DCP of Shamsabad, Mr Prakash Reddy informed in a press conference that Thirupatamma, wife of P. Raju, a labourer resident of Tondpally, Medak District came in contact with G. Pedda Venkanna (56). Both developed friendship and established illegal contacts.

Later, Thirupatamma shifted to Kacheguda and came in contact with Venkanna again. Her husband got to know of it.
Raju admonished Venkanna not to meet his wife but he did not pay heed to his admonition.

Raju went to Tondpally on 13th June where he saw Venkanna. Raju made him drink wine. Later, he took him near the railway track and dumped a heavy stone on his head. Venkanna died on the spot. Raju fled away from there.

Police traced him out with the help of CCTV camera footage and arrested him.

He was presented in the court where the magistrate sent him into judicial custody.
