Hyderabad: Traffic curbs in city for VP visit

Hyderabad: The City police on Thursday notified traffic restrictions from July 13 to 14 in connection with the visit of Vice-President M. Venkaiah Nadu. According to a pressnote today, vehicular traffic will either be stopped or diverted at the following places.

July 13, 0955 Hrs to 1045 Hrs: Begumpet Airport – PNT Junction –right turn Shyamlal Building – HPS – Begumpet Flyover – Greenlands Jn – CM’s camp office – Panjagutta flyover – Middle of the Panjagutta flyover – Y junction – NFCL grave yard – Times of India office – M.J. Engineering college – Srinagar ‘T’ junction – Sagar Society ‘T’junction – KBR park – left turn – Cancer Hospital – TRS bhavan – Orissa Island Junction – then immediate right turn – residence, Road No.12, Banjara Hills.

Banjara Hills to Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), Pragathi Nagar, near Aleap Nizampet, Opp: JNTU road residence, Road No. 12- Main Road- Orissa Island- Cancer Hospital-NTR Trust Bhavan / KBR Park Junction-Jubilee Hills Check post Junction- Usha Kiran ‘T’ Junction- Peddamma Temple JN- Road No. 10/36 Junction-Croma Building –Neeru’s Junction (Cyberabad limits).

July 14 (Saturday): 0720 Hrs to 0810 Hrs. Road No.12, Banjara Hills, to Begumpet Airport: Residence, Road No.12 – Main road – Orissa Island – Cancer Hospital -N. T. R. Trust Bhavan / K.B.R park junction – Sagar society ‘T’ junction – Srinagar ‘T’ jn –Nagarjuna circle – Panjagutta flyover – CM’s camp Office – Greenlands fly-over – Begumpet flyover – Hyderabad Public School – Shopper’s stop – under the PNT flyover – Airport ‘Y’ junction– Begumpet Airport.

The city police requested the citizens to take alternative routes to their destinations and avoid these routes during the specified timings. (NSS)
