Hyderabad: In the ongoing drive against offenders, Cyberabad Commissioner VC Sajjanar, IPS, invoked P.D Act against two immoral traffic offenders identified as Shaik Jilani Basha, 48, of Saketh Towers, Sainikpuri.
The accused, a resident of Sainikpuri, rented a flat in Sri Nilayam apartments, Patrikanagar, Madhapur and procured female sex workers from different places and was running a brothel to make easy money. He also advertised about sex-workers, body massage and call girls in websites. The accused was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on June 30, 2018.
In another case, one Saleti Laxmi, 58, of Eluru in West Godavari District, along with her associate took a flat in KPHB Colony here procured women through mediators on pretext of providing employment and initiated them in flesh trade by offering handsome amounts. She used to collect huge amounts from male customers for arranging sexual pleasures to them. The offence was committed under KPHB Police limits of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. The accused was arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
Their immoral activities were endangering the family system and posed a threat to the local residents, safety and security of their girl children and also leading to social unrest by spreading HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea and so on.
