Hyderabad: Two persons killed suspecting them to be members of ‘children kidnapping gang’

Hyderabad: The messages on social media about children kidnapping gang created a panic among the people. The advisory issued by DGP, Mr. Mahender Reddy not to pay heed to rumours did not create any effect.

Two suspects in the districts of Telangana were killed by the angry mob.

During the past 24 hours, a person was killed in Rachakonda Police Commissionerate area and other was killed in Nizamabad District by a violent mob.

According to the details, people are panicky that the members of children kidnapping gang are killing children and eating away the brains.

Earlier, Hindi speaking people were suspected but now, Telugu speaking persons, farmers and labourers are also being suspected. People are suspecting anyone wandering in the localities late at nights to be the member of the children’s kidnapping gang.

One such incident occurred the other day at Jaiyapally mandal of Bibi Nagar area of Yadadari District.

A person by name M. Bala Krishna belonging to Ghatkesar Mandal was going to meet V. Rama Swamy, a resident of Jaiyapally but the mob did not believe his statement and assaulted him seriously. He was rushed to the hospital where he died during the treatment.

In another case, two persons belonging to Bheemgal Mandal of Nizamabad District by name, Devagat Lalu and his brother-in-law Malut Deviya were beaten up suspecting them to be the members of the kidnapping gang. Both were rushed to the hospital where Deviya succumbed to injuries.

It is reported that both these persons had gone to a mango garden. A youth suspected them and started shouting. The mob started beating them without making any enquiries. When police was informed, they were rushed to Mahatma Gandhi Government Hospital, Armour. The doctors gave an advise to shift them to NIMS where Deviya succumbed to injuries.
