Hyderabad: VHP activists stage protest at Mahankali PS, demand action against Pastor for propagating conversions

Hyderabad: Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists of Telangana unit on Monday staged protest dharna in front of Mahankali police station and demanded action against a pastor who was allegedly propagating Christianity and hurting religious sentiments by passing derogatory remarks against Hindu deities on RP Road, Secunderabad

VHP activists led by State president JB Prakash staged a dharna in front of the police station. They were holding VHP flags. In a press note Prakash stated that on January 21, a pastor distributed Christian books to G Srinath and propagated conversions. He also made hurting comments against Hindu deities. G Srinath had lodged complaint with the police station but no action was taken against the pastor.

The protesters were taken into custody then released later.
