Hyderabad: A woman committed suicide due to dowry harassment. This incident took place in the area which falls under the jurisdiction of Alwal Police Station.
According to the details of the incident, Shruthi (29), wife of Goverdhan Reddy committed suicide by hanging herself. She was married to Goverdhan Reddy on 13th March 2017. At the time of marriage, her parents paid Rs. 1.5 lakh cash, 18 tolas gold and other articles as dowry. She was being harassed continuously for getting two acres of land from her parents. Vexed with this, she committed suicide.
Police registered a case and started an investigation.
