Hyderabad: Workshop on “Opportunities for self-employment”

Hyderabad: The All India Small Scale Industries Minorities Committee will be organizing a one-day free workshop on August 5 at Madeena Education Centre opposite PSR Telugu University, Public Gardens, Nampally, here, on the subject “Opportunities for self-employment under Khud Kamao Khud Khao” program, stated Committee president Syed Zainul Abedin Sayeed in a press release here. The youth belonging to all sections of society can attend the program being held from 10 am to 2 pm.

Those interested to participate in the workshop can register their names at aissimc@gmail.com or on Face Book page Khud Kamao Khud Khao till August 1. He said eminent Government of India faculty Ch V S Murthy (Rtd.) and other officers would deliver lecture on the opportunities and scope of different small scale units. He also said there are scores of activities which could be started with a meager amount of Rs 2,000, but it was painful to observe during its campaign that many poor people did not have even this much amount. Guidance would be given on 20 selected tiny industrial activities. Necessary guidance would also be provided on the schemes of Central and State governments, he added. The purpose of the workshop was to create awareness about self-employment and the committee was striving since past several years in this regard, said Sayeed. Details can be had on 98499 32346. (NSS)
