Hyderabad: A youth who met with a road accident was admitted to a hospital. After doctors declared him brain dead, his family members decided to donate his vital organs.
According to a news published in Telangana Today, G. Victory Sairam (20) was declared dead by the doctors of Yashoda Hospital where he was admitted after the accident.
It may be mentioned that Sairam who was a native of Bhadradri, Kothagudem District had completed ITI and was in search of a job. On 28th December, Sairam met with an accident. The bus in which he was traveling collided with a truck and he received severe head injuries.
After the accident, he was shifted to Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet. Despite many attempts by the doctors of the hospital to save him, he succumbed to injuries.
On December 30, when doctors declared him brain dead, Jeevandan coordinators conducted counseling sessions for his family members. After this session, mother G Dhanalaxmi decided to donate her deceased son’s organs.
