Hyderabad: A youth lost his life in a fight over four rupees on Tuesday night in Hayat Nagar under Rachakonda police Commissionerate on the city outskirts. According to police sources youth named Rajesh came under a truck while trying to escape from five people who were beating him up.
Police informed that Rajesh purchased cigarettes from a pan shop but the shop owner didn’t return four rupee change. On this he had a quarrel with the pan shop owner.
He was thrashed by the shop owner and his friends. To escape this he ran away towards the other side of the road, where a truck mowed him down. A CCTV camera in the area recorded the whole incident.
A case has been registered against the shop owner and his friends. They have been arrested.
