New Delhi: National Minority Commission Chairman Syed Ghayurul Hasan Rizvi said if Babri Masjid cannot be built in Ayodhya why disrupting peace by not constructing Ram temple?
According to Inquilab, clarifying his controversial statement Chairman Rizvi said I am not a political personality nor talking with some political motive. But on the basis of the applications received by me, I am telling that the sooner the Babri-Masjid Ram Janmabhoomi issue is resolved the better for the country.
He said Minority Development of India Chairman Mubeen Khan and similar other people and delegations have submitted applications seeking Commission’s help for early resolution of the issue.
Mr Rizvi said the Commission will raise the issue during the monthly high-level meeting on November 14. He said he didn’t announce a decision but just gave his opinion.
